This presentation will discuss Cogeneration (aka Combined Heat and Power), its different variations and how they compare to PV Solar and Fuel Cell Technology. This will include both the mechanical and financial aspects. We will provide an understanding of how cogeneration works, and who it will benefit the most from its utilization.
We will discuss Reciprocating engine-driven and Micro-Turbine powered cogeneration equipment in detail and compare the differences. We will also explain an Organic Rankine Cycle generator (ORC) and how they can be used to generate electricity using waste heat or through biomass. We will provide a comparison overview of Fuel Cells, PV Solar as compared to cogeneration.
A hot buffet breakfast will be served.
