DIAD, ORION, My Choice, and Access Points
Join UPS at our Bradley Airport Facility Tour for a behind-the-scenes look at UPS operations and technology. Access to UPS facilities is rarely seen by the public and this is an exclusive chance for NHMA members to take a peek!
Network with local UPS leadership while enjoying light food and refreshments! Appropriate footwear is required for entrance to the facility (no sandals or open toed shoes).
The new DIAD V enables more efficient deliveries by our UPS drivers through state of the art technology. The DIAD is the key factor in facilitating the 32.1 million tracking requests UPS receives every day.
Equipped with real-time maps, a color auto-focus flash camera, Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities and a state-of-the-art color display and microprocessor the DIAD V allows drivers to avoid traffic jams and deliver data quickly and accurately.
Hear about ORION, UPS’s routing software that combines algorithms, real-time data and driver input to help find the fastest and most fuel-efficient route to a customer’s door. With each UPS route having an average of 200,000 ways to go ORION is helping us to find the very best one.
