Description

Focus on Business in Connecticut - Understanding Party Positions for the Pending Election

The New Haven Manufacturers Association, Ulbrich, and Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce invite you to join leaders from each of the State political parties for a discussion on how the two parties envision a return to a growing Connecticut economy.

The 2015 Legislative Session passed a variety of bills which will have differing impacts on Connecticut business. Incentives were put in place for new industries at the expense of manufacturing assistance bonds, hiring of teachers was streamlined while cutting the Tech Ed. budget by $7M, and a zero-deficit was reached without cost restructuring.

The intention of this forum is for members to gain clarity on party positions in
preparation for upcoming elections.

Invited Guests: Vincent Candelora, Dep. Chair of House Republicans and
Joe Aresimowicz, House Majority Leader

Coffee and light pastries will be provided.
Registration and networking will be 8:00-8:15 a.m.

We look forward to seeing you there!
