Manufacturers Innovation Fund (MIF)
Many Funding Opportunities for Manufacturers
Hear from our speakers as well as companies who have used these programs present their experiences.
To help keep pace with state-of-the art product development and manufacturing technology:
·The Manufacturing Innovation Fund Voucher Program provides companies with access to capital to help them obtain new equipment and the expertise they need to become more efficient, productive, and competitive.
·The Manufacturing Innovation Fund Incumbent Worker Training program is a matching fund program to help manufacturing companies provide training for their workforce.
Paul Striebel is an inventor, entrepreneur and President of KK Manufacturing headquartered in South Windsor, CT. He also coordinates the statewide Connecticut Business Incubator Network (CBIN) and is a managing member of the business incubator run by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) in East Hartford. Additionally, he administers a grant program sponsored by the Department of Economic and Community Development that provides financial assistance to Connecticut Manufacturers.
Before taking an active role in Economic Development ten years ago, Mr. Striebel held various management positions in the Aerospace, Firearms and Packaging Industries. He holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Bryant University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
