- NextFlex Institute – this institute focuses on manufacturing of flexible electronics
- Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) – this institute focuses on the use of smart sensors, big data analytics and digital process controls to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Advanced Robotics Manufacturing (ARM) Institute –this institute focuses on advancing robotic technology in key areas to enhance the application of robots in the manufacturing environment.
Connecticut Manufacturing Simulation Center
- The goal of the new center is to assist small and medium manufacturers in product design and manufacturing by providing them with advanced modeling and simulation services and training
